Koh Ker Temple Cambodia
Koh Ker, archaeological site, is located 120km from Siem Reap or ancient capital of Angkor and northern side of Cambodia. There are about forty temples and reservoir were built by Khmer King Jayavarman IV, who was usurper, ruled the country from 928 to 941. Koh Ker is a modern name of the city, the ancient name call: Linga Pura “The city of lingams”. Amongst those temples, one is the most beautiful “Prasat Thom” means big temple. The temple was built in the centre of capital and represent of Mountain temple or state temple, which was built on seven‑tiered and 36-metres high pyramidal base.
