Siem Reap Angkor Wat and Phnom Penh City


 



Day 1::  (-/L/D) Phnom Penh

After arriving in Phnom Penh, you will be welcomed by one of our tour guides who will take you to your hotel. Visiting the temples will start shortly thereafter. If arrival time permits you will start from the Royal Palace, Silver Pagoda and National Museum and you will visit to Genocide Museum S21.

Lunch at local restaurant

In the afternoon, you will take a boat trip to Koh Dach where the Khmer produce their Hol and Pamourng using silk (Hol & Pamourng is a traditional Khmer costume used for special ceremonies or weddings). You will have a boat trip (private) along the Tonle Mekong river for the sunset.

Day 2:  (B/L/-) Phnom Penh

This morning you will visit

visit Phnom Udong where the ashes of ancient Khmer kings and Buddha were installed in numerous Stupa.

Lunch at local restaurant

This afternoon you will visit to Killing Field Cheung Ek and can enjoy shopping at the Russian market

Day 3: (B/L/D) Siem Reap - Phnom Penh

This morning you will be transferred to Phnom Penh by private vehicle and you will visit Sambo temple group “Sambo Preikuk” which was built by King Isanavarman (616-635) and Jayavarman II (802-850) at Kampong Thom Province. The temple known as the center of pre-Angkorian ancient city called “Isanapura” in the time of Zhenla.

Lunch at local Restaurant.

In the afternoon, you will continue to Phnom Penh, you will check in hotel at Phnom Penh.

Day 4: (-/L/D)

This morning you will visit to Ta Prohm temple which was invaded by jungle and the one that "Tomb Raider" had filmed and Angelina Jolie was an actress.

Lunch at local restaurant

Afternoon, you will visit to Roluos Group, Prah Ko, Bakong and Lolei, with its water reservoir "Baray" of Lolei "Indratadaka". These temples were built during the reign of King Indravarman I 9th century.

 Day 5: (B/L/D)

Your second day will start with a visit to In the afternoon, you will visit the great city - Angkor Thom - starting at the south gate, then Bayon, Baphuon, royal enclosure and Phimeanakas, terrace of elephant and leper king. Following these visits you will enjoy the sunset at Angkor Wat.

Afternoon, you will visit to Preah Khan temple, which was known as an old temporary city of king Jayavarman VII (1181-1218). You will continue to Neak Pean Temple, which was one of the 102 ancient hospitals of King Jayavarman VII who built this hospital temple for taking care people’s health. Mebon and Pre Rup temples will be visited later on. These two temples were built by the same king ‘Rajendra Varman II (944-967) to dedicate his ancestors.

 Day 6: (B/L/D)

Departure to the north of Siem Reap to visit the citadel of woman - Banteay Srei – a jewel indisputable of the Khmer art: entirely having been constructed by hard pink sandstone and perfectly preserved and restored. On your way back you will visit AKIRA land mine museum and then continue to Angkor site for your visit to Banteay Samre Temple.

In the afternoon, you will visit the magnificent temple of Angkor Wat, which is not only a wonder of the world, but the largest temple in the area.

Dinner at local restaurant 


 Day 7: (B/L/D)

Koh Ker Tempe Prasat ThomOn your fourth day you will drive to the northeast of Siem Reap (130KM) to visit the group of Koh Ker Temples, which were built during the reign of king Jayavarman IV (928-940)

On the way back you will visit Beng Mealea Temple, which was built in the 12th century and covered within the jungle.

 Tonle Sap Lake Boat tripDay 8:  (B/L/-)

This morning you will take a boat and discover the great lake "Tonle Sap," an interior ocean where there are many fish, which were exported by the multiple villages of fishermen.  These fishermen are also available for conversation.  You will visit a fish & crocodile farms as well.

After lunch, you will transfer to Siem Reap airport for your next destination
