Angkor Sightseeing 7 days & 6 nights

Day 1: (-/L/D)

After arriving in Siem Reap you will be welcomed by one of our tour guides who will take you to your hotel. Visiting the temples will start shortly thereafter. If arrival time permits you will visit Angkor National Museum before lunch, if not, the visit will be made at a later time during your trip.

Today start to visit the ancient temple of Roluos Group, Prah Ko, Bakong and Lolei, with its water reservoir "Baray" of Lolei "Indratadaka". These temples were built during the reign of King Indravarman I 9^th century.

Today you will drive to the Northeast of Siem Reap (130KM) to visit the group of Koh Ker Temples, which were built during the reign of king Jayavarman IV (928-940).

On the way back you will visit Beng Mealea Temple, which was built in the 12^th century and covered within the jungle.

 Day 4:  (B/L/D)

On your fourth day will start with a visit to the magnificent temple of Angkor Wat, which is not only a wonder of the world, but the largest temple in the area.

Afternoon you will visit the great city - Angkor Thom - starting at the south gate, then Bayon, Baphuon, royal enclosure and Phimeanakas, terrace of elephant and leper king.

 Day 5:  (B/L/D) 

In the morning you will start with a visit to Preah Khan temple which was known as an old temporary city of king Jayavarman VII (1181-1218). You will continue to Neak Pean Temple, which was one of the 102 ancient hospitals of King Jayavarman VII who built this hospital temple for taking care people’s health. Mebon and Pre Rup temples will be visited later on. These two temples were built by the same king ‘Rajendra Varman II (944-967) to dedecate his ancestors.

In the afternoon, you will take pleasure in “The Cambodian Cultural Village.” This is one of the best performances of Khmer culture in Cambodia. In Cambodia, both Khmer, ethnic and Chinese cultural shows are presented in different beautifully-decorated villages and there are also various dance shows, wedding ceremonies and Khmer & Chinese circuses that are performed by Khmer and Chinese including as many as 100 to 300 people.

 Day 6:  (B/L/D) Bird Observation 

From early morning you will take boat to the Great Lake “Tonle Sap”, where you will see a variety of water birds, such as Greater Adjuncts, Painted Stork, Milky Stork, Spot-billed Pelican, Black-headed Ibis, Grey-Headed Fish Eagle and many more…

Lunch will be served on boat. You will meet our local guide who will show you the birds while you are watching on a small boat that oars by local fishermen. You will also meet and see people who live on water in floating villages. They use boats or floating houses to accommodate as a permanent life.

 Day 7:  (B/L/-)

For the last day, you will discover the way of producing silk at Pouk District. The process of feeding silk worm, taking silk line from coocoon, weaving silk. The school of Artisant d’Angkor is sponsored by European Union when first open, but now school can run by themselves after they can sell their silk product to visitors. You possibly can find these product at many countries in South East Asia.

After lunch, you will visit "Les Artisants d'Angkor". They show you how Khmer ancestors carved on wood and stone, they will also show you the way of policromi. Then you have time for shopping at central market (old market) before transfer to the airport of Siem Reap for your international flight.
