Discovery Angkor 5 days & 4 nights

Day 1: (L/D)
After arriving in Siem Reap you will be welcomed by one of our tour guides who will take you to your hotel. Visiting the temples will start shortly thereafter. If arrival time permits you will visit Ta Prohm before lunch, if not, the visit will be made at a later time during your trip.

In the afternoon you will visit the great city - Angkor Thom - starting at the south gate, then Bayon, Baphuon, royal enclosure and Phimeanakas, terrace of elephant and leper king. Following these visits you will enjoy the sunset at Angkor Wat.

 Day 2: (B/L/D)
Your second day will start with a visit to Preah Khan temple which was known as an old temporary city of king Jayavarman VII (1181-1218). You will continue to Neak Pean Temple, which was one of the 102 ancient hospitals of King Jayavarman VII who built this hospital temple for taking care people’s health. Mebon and Pre Rup temples will be visited later on. These two temples were built by the same king ‘Rajendra Varman II (944-967) to dedecate his ancestors.

In the afternoon you will visit the magnificent temple of Angkor Wat, which is not only a wonder of the world, but the largest temple in the area.

 Day 3: (B/L/D)
Departure to the north of Siem Reap to visit the citadel of woman - Banteay Srei – an indisputable jewel of Khmer art and entirely constructed by hard pink sandstone and perfectly preserved and restored. You will then drive to Kulen Mountain (50 minute drive) and see the Thousand Lingas River – Grand Reclining Buddha and a Waterfall.  It is also possible at this time to swim and picnic.
Picnic Lunch will be served near waterfall.

 Day 4: (B/L/D)
On your fourth day you will drive to the northeast of Siem Reap (130KM) to visit the group of Koh Ker Temples, which were built during the reign of king Jayavarman IV (928-940).

On the way back you will visit Beng Mealea Temple, which was built in the 12th century and covered within the jungle.

 Day 5:  (B/L/D)

For the last day, you will be out for a visit by boat discovering the great lake "Tonle Sap” a real interior ocean where there many fish that has been exported by the multiple villages of fishermen.  You will also have a chance to meet and talk with these villagers.  You will also visit a fish & crocodile farm before returning from the lake.

After lunch, you will visit "Les Artisants d'Angkor" then the central market (old market) before transfer to the airport of Siem Reap for your international flight.
