Flights to Cambodia
Visitors are able to fly directly from many Asia countries. There are three international airports in Cambodia Phnom Penh, Siem Reap & Preah Sihanouk. Cambodia Angkor Air has operated their services since 28th July 2009 replaced the Royal Air Cambodge which was bankrupted in 2001. Cambodia Angkor Air flight schedule are from and to Phnom Penh - Vietnam, Siem Reap - Phnom Penh, Siem Reap - Preah Sihanouk - Siem Reap, Cambodia Angkor air is the national airline of Cambodia, which has cooperation business between Cambodia government 51% and Vietnam airline company 49%. Now Cambodia Angkor Air has it own flights both local and International. Tickets can buy online or from Travel agencies.
The route between Phnom Penh and Siem Reap is serviced by Bangkok Airways (daily flights). The flight takes approximately 35-45 minutes.
Tickets for domestic flights can be purchased at most travel agents in Phnom Penh. A round-trip ticket between Phnom Penh and Siem Reap is US$125. There is an airport tax of US$6 per person on all domestic flights, payable at the airport. There is also a weight limit of ten kilograms per person for baggage on each domestic flight. Overweight baggage is not expensive and not always checked.
